Port Elizabeth (Gqeberha), fondly known as the 'Friendly City', is situated in the adventurous Eastern Cape province and is South Africa’s second oldest city. Visitors can look forward to catching a glimpse of, and exploring some of the following highlights: The Campanile, City Hall, Public Library, Feather Market Centre, Market Square, Fort Frederick, Donkin Reserve & Lighthouse, some of Route 67’s public artwork that is dedicated to late Nelson Mandela and various sightings of architectural delights. Time permitting, visitors may pass St Georges and Settlers Park, as well as enjoy a scenic drive along Port Elizabeth’s (Gqeberha) breathtaking beachfront.
